I have ordered a fan, when it arrive will investigate how to fit it, apparently tape is needed to secure it, what type of tape do I need?

Hi @Dr-Fred I want to replace a noisy fan on my MEDION Erazor P7647 MD 60804 It seems your article is similar. I have two questions: I would like to order a fan but not sure what numbers to use, I have tried Amazon with the DFS501 number no success. Secondly, you mention that tape was used to secure the fan, what kind of tape ?

Hi, My MEDION Erazor P7647 MD 60804 has developed a noisy fan, I have opened the laptop up, could not see anything physically wrong with the fan. After successfully replacing the Hard Drive and adding an extra memory module, I thought I could do my self. Look on Amazon for a replacement, but no idea which one to buy. Could you let me know where to get a replacement or what part number I need to order one. Secondly looking at the existing fan I noticed there were no retaining screws fitted, not quite sure how to remove the fan or actually fit the new one, is there a video to show the procedure? If fitting the fan required special knowledge, please et me know where to take it laptop so it can be fixed tyvm Fan Info Sticker Fan within laptop

I recently replaced a failing HDD and now I want to upgrade other parts of my computer. I have some questions and I will post them separately. One of them is about the memory socket that is empty. What is the right type of memory to buy for it? I appreciate your help in advance. What is the correct name for this memory module

Hi The Hard Drive on my Medion Erazor P7647 (MD60804 MSN 30023353, started to corrupt. I have used the chkdsk Command, it seems to have fixed the problem, if this fix is temporary, so I need to buy a specific hard drive, or are all laptop hard drives compatible ? (Was thinking of using Amazon) Some questions on the actual replacing of the HD: So I simply exchange the drive and the machine will operate normally ? I had no 'setup' disks. The HD does have a 'recover' partition, do I need to copy the contents into a folder on the new HD or do I need to make a partition like on the original. Any advice/tips on installing the new HD greatly appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.
