Hello @bobhudsonsecur  and welcome under vista : Go to "Connect to the Internet" in the "Welcome Center." enter the data for registration with the router there. or via Control Panel/ Network and Sharing Center/ Set up a connection or network, enter all the data there (the router network to be connected must be active) Then don't forget to activate the WLAN via the quick start button.
