Caravan TV E12480 - select from EPG

Does anyone know of a way to get the EPG to allow you to select the current channel when scrolling through the channels? 

So far all we have been able to do is make a note of the channel number, exit the EPG and then manually type in the channel number. Surely there has to be a way of selecting the channel directly from the EPG?

I've checked the product page on here, but, there is no firmware update, so, maybe Medion could release one with a fix for this very annoying problem?

Hi Jon, usually you mark the Channel,better said the name of it ( egal. BBC)),  AMD press the OK  Key on the remote.

You would think that that is how it would work, but, it doesn't. I can move up and down channels, pages of channels, view daily and weekly guides, view programme info. The only thing that cannot be done is to select a programme to watch. I've pressed every key on the remote and nothing will select the programme to be watched.
