Good afternoon I have a Life X5020 mobile phone I acquired it 2 weeks ago, unfortunately the big problem very small battery life was found. In case of the "switched on" mobile Internet and talks at most 1 hour a day, the battery power lasts a maximum for 12-17 hours work.

Hi @REMBOIV,
As I understand it, you are able to work on the phone for 12 to 17 hours? That would actually be quite impressive, I'm barely able to actively work on my phone for 2-3 hours ( Depending of course on what I'm doing, which apps or connections are active, screenbrightness etc. )

Good afternoon! I a little not correctly wrote, 17-20 hours this time from removal of phone from a charge to the battery full discharge. When using of phone about 1 hour (calls and the internet) during this time. Brightness of the screen there is automatic.

Hi @REMBOIV,
So if I understand correctly, the phone drains very fast when calling or using the internet? Is this with Mobile internet?
How good is your reception? The worse the connection is, the more power is needed, and the faster the battery will drain.

Good afternoon! I understand that when using cellular communication the category to the battery increases, but I lack a charge for 24 hours, at active use of phone only within 1 hour! For me it is very critical on business trips.

Hi @REMBOIV
I think in this case your best bet is to contact Medion service to see if this indicates a problem with the battery or if this is normal. Perhaps there are batteries available with more capacitiy? If not, perhaps a powerbank could be a good solution for you?

Good afternoon! Thanks for council, but I thought that this forum and is made in order that technical support of Medion answered questions. Power bank is good, but I have narrow pockets in jeans 🙂 Maybe technical specialists will prompt when there is an Android 6.0 version and how to make root 😉

Hi @REMBOIV,
Nope, this is a forum where users try to help eachother, not a way to contact Medion. If an update is available, I think you will automatically get a message on your phone asking if you want to update.
I think it is highly unlikely that Medion will support rooting a system, since this would essentially void your warranty.

Thanks! Though I thought that technical support of MEDION looks too here 🙂
