max RAM of the MEDION laptop MD97600 WIM 2090

Dear Medion team,

What is the max RAM of my laptop Medion MD97600 WIM 2090 (from 2006)?
It is said 2GB at https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Medion-MD97600-Laptop-Memory-Upgrade/dp/B002Z5P5ZI

Is this correct? Can it handle 2GB of RAM? I am planning to upgrade the RAM

Hiya

Have you tried running a Scan on your laptop from Crucial Memory?   That will analyse the laptop, and give you some info about what the max RAM is.

Hi @cons  & @cons and first of all sorry for the late reply,

this one seemed to have slipped, but apart from the original config, which was 1x 512 MB Hynix DDR2 S0-DIMM (533MHz), the MEDION MD 97600 is able to take summarised 2 GB RAM (1 Gb each per slot) max.

If further questions occur,pls letme know.
