Hi,
I see
CPU 6267U 2 x 2.9 - 3.3 GHz, Skylake U
Max Resolution (HDMI 1.4)‡ 4096x2304@24Hz
Max Resolution (DP)‡ 4096x2304@60Hz (DisplayPort)
Is it somehow possible to have some (external?) DisplayPort in order to have 4k UHD @60Hz?
Thanks

Hi @phil4 ,
please bare in mind that what you are trying to do will push your machine to its limit, which may have an impact on the performance and durability of its components.
In theory, your processor, as you mentioned, can handle 4K@60hz .
In theory, the graphic card can handle the image output via DP 1.2 / eDP 1.3 (max.3,840 x 2,160 @ 60 Hz), and an HDMI 2.0 connection can, however, be supplemented with a converter from DisplayPort.
BUT the monitor of the NB is not 4k

We miss understood each other.
First, I do not want the laptop monitor to be in 4K
Second, I have a 4K UDH monitor, which does have hdmi 2.0
I'm connecting to it with an hdmi cable to my Medion Akoya E6424
However,
the Medion Akoya E6424 specs are:
hdmi: 1.4
no DP
USB 3.0
LAN
hdmi 1.4 cannot output in 4k UHD@60hz, but well at 30hz, which I do use.
On the otherhand DP1.2 can output in 4k UHD@60hz, but this laptop has no such port DP, solely VGA and HDMI.
However, the CPU can handle DP, my question is:
is there a way for me to have an DP port so that I can outuput in 4k UHD@60hz, which requires 12.5Gb/s?
From what I know USB 3.0 is too slow (5Gb/s) < HDMI 1.4 (8.2Gb/s)

Hi @phil4 , I am sorry for the misunderstanding.
Even though I can't provide you any specific recommendation, only as a reference, would you be looking for something like this adaptor here?
If so, it looks like there are available solutions for your case on the market and I would recommend you to buy from sellers that accept return/refund in case it does not deliver what it is promised, just to play on the safe side.

I have the same PC and the same problem. Just bought a 4k monitor and stay at 30 kHz only. Did you résolve your problem and did you find a resolution?
Thanks

Hi @pitpol and welcome to the MEDION Community,
maybe there´s someone who can help, if you provide us some additional information:
=> Which laptop with which current OS are you using? 8-digit MSN number (like 3003xxxx) which is placed on the bottom side of the laptop would be great
=> Which monitor is connected with which cable connection?
Additional hint: To mention a community user in such a way that they will be notified when you reply, why not put an @ sign in front of their name? ( @Major_Tom)
Cheers
