Hello All
I have a Medion Akoya S4216 which was working fine until I installed Win10 and the battery stopped charging.
The German version of this forum suggests upgrading the BIOS to 507 in order to get the battery charging again.
I am already running BIOS Version 507.
I have tried to update the BIOS again to 507, but receive an error that I need to check the battery first.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards
Alan.

Hi @alanossher welcome to the forum !
Can you please let us know the MSN number of your product?
It is an 8-digits number that you can find printed on a label underneath it. It usually starts by 100, 300 or 500.
Also, it is not clear which battery the error message refers to: CMOS or regular battery.
In this case you may want to try the suggestions indicated on the links below:
CMOS battery here
Regular battery here
Please let me know the outcome.
