Hi there,
I recently purchased an Erazer Engineer X30 and would like to install a 3.5" HDD (Toshiba HDWE140). I've already located the HDD bay, but am struggling to connect the right cables.
Can anyone please confirm which cable and ports I need to use? If I'm correct I need:
• SATA data cable. Here I'm not sure which cable to use. Should I use the middle L-port of my HDD for this or the right one with the two pins? Is the SATA data cable either one in the photo below? Or do I need a different one which is not included?
If it's another SATA data cable, where should I connect it to my PC?
Sorry for my ignorance, help would be appreciated!

You have to buy a separate SATA cable, connect it to the contact strip next to the power connexion. For the mainboard side the SATA plug looks alike, look on the google search result. Such things you can google by yourselfself., to find a suitable trading shop.
Here is a ready cable --> https://www.ebay.de/itm/134897847229?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SI...

You first should state your MSN number. it can be located on a sticker underneath the case, or on the back. It also should stand on the box, or on a guarantee card.
Your picture I can not see yet; it will be only be seen tomorrow after authorization.
I guess your mainboard is most probably a GIGABYTE™ B760M GAMING X AX 1.2, depending on the MSN number.
On the picture below you can see right below near the right corner two SATA slots marked SATA3, 4 and 5, with a L-formed internal shape or partition.
