Why is water running out of the sides of my washing machine, dishwasher or dryer?

Answer

Check the following causes:

• The rubber (seal) on the door may have warped, causing gaps to form in the seal and therefore the door does not close properly. The rubber on the door can be carefully warmed up with an ordinary hair dryer to bring it back into shape.
• Check the entire door seal on the frame for residues and remove them, as they can cause water to leak out.
