It is important to clean the interior, including the sieve and the door seal, regularly.
If dishes with food residues have been left in the machine for too long or the machine has not been used for a long time (stale water), unpleasant odours can arise. In this case, run the hottest programme, use dishwasher perfume if necessary and special detergent for the dishwasher.
If the machine is rarely used, the dishes should also be pre-washed by hand.
