Dishwasher salt can cause the dishes inside to rust after a wash cycle. To avoid rust stains, we recommend that you run a short programme without dishes after you have added salt. If the dishes or cutlery are made of stainless material, rust stains should no longer occur.
Rusty spots on the dishwasher basket should be sealed with a special glue from a specialist shop, otherwise the rust will spread in the machine during the washing process and the rusty spots on the basket can increase.
