The inner back wall in my fridge is iced, what can I do?
The cause of the icy back wall is often due to an incorrectly sealed, dirty or deformed door seal. Through this leak warm air then enters and this is the root cause of the issue.
The warm air loses moisture on cooling (condensation) which in turn settles on the back wall (coldest surface in the interior). Since the cooling surface can also be warm below 0 ° C the condensate freezes.
A remedy here is regular cleaning or if necessary careful deformation of the door seal with a hair dryer.
