Why does my MD 10864 electric barbecue trolley switch itself off?

If the indicator light switches off, this is not a fault; the indicator light (3a) goes out as soon as the preset temperature is reached. If reheating is necessary, the indicator light will light up again.

If the appliance does not heat up at all, please check the following possible causes:

• Test the device on another functional socket.
• If an extension cable is used, check whether it is defective and designed for the corresponding power.
• When using a cable reel, check that it is fully unwound and has not switched off due to overheating.
• Check whether the temperature controller (3) is correctly plugged into the mains connection socket (4) (see illustration).
