I am hoping to purchase a 1x MEDION - Erazer Engineer X32 Gaming PC - in the hope what I will be able to add an extra m2 drive and extra SSD drives - none of the stores I asked could answer the question ad CHATGTP thought maybe! The Medion site says there are 3 SATA data sockets on the board but no mention of power lead anywhere does anyone know if there any and where are they please and is there actuially a spare M2 socket and where is it. Can't seem to find these on the picture of the motherboard on the site. Thanks in hope!!

Hi Fisherdown. Thanks again. Yes I'm nearer the sweat on the brow side 🙂 Without removing everything it looks as though from installation guides on the web that the GeoForce RTX 4070 plugs into a PCI Express 5.0 slot which I guess is underneath it in my picture which where I would have put the second M2 SD Card does that sound right?

Thanks Fishtown the MSN Number is 10025109 and it is described as MEDION - Erazer Engineer X32 Gaming PC - Intel® Core™ i7, RTX 4070,1 TB SSD. I have managed to find the SATA power leads now, they were tucked away inside the power supply enclosure. Can only see one m2 ssd slot though whihc the 1TB drive is in.

Hi @bikerwales
you have 2 x M.2 M2_SSD_1 and M2_SSD_2 (for PCIe X4 NVMe SSD 2280)
look here: https://www.medion.com/gb/service/topic/medion-products?msnCheck=20071087
You have a InWin 301 housing, there is also space for another two SATA SSD 2.5".

Hi Fishtown really helpul thanks. Problem is that the free M2 slot is buried underneath the massive graphics card. Is it much of a job to remove that and would that invalidate my warranty do you think. Also is the difference in speed of an m2 to a standard ssd drive tat big and is it worth the effort?

Thanks Fishtown. The problem is that the second M2 slot seems to be bured under the massive graphics card. I it it a big job to remove it to insert an M2 and then replace it nd tdo you think that would invalidate my warranty? and is the speed differnce from a SATA SSD drive different enough to make it worth it ?

hi @bikerwales
There are only problems with the guarantee if you damage something otherwise.
Whether the installation is a lot of work always depends on your own abilities.
For some people the question doesn't even arise. 😒
Others get beads of sweat on their forehead just thinking about it. 😰
The M.2 PCIe is significantly faster than the SATA hard drive. Personally, I don't think it's that important in normal use.
