am i doing something wrong?

i recently bought the medion ERAZER P15805 and i am happy with it most of the time. but recently i also bought a valve index because i am also planning on upgrading my pc. and since the steam VR test says the the medion is also VR ready i thought i might as wel try it on my laptop first. i am using a mini displayport to displayport female adapter that other people have recommended for the index online but whenever i try to start up steam vr i get a 212 eror message saying display was not found but a mirrored display was found. i think the mini displayport might be using the integrated graphics instead of the 1660ti but i dont know what to do about it. can anyone help me with my problem?

Hi @koenvdgeest , and welcome to the FORUM

have you already tried to set the graphic preferences for running your app?

- Type "Graphic Settings" on your W10 search bar and select the proper app

- Select "Desktop App" option

- Browse the executable file of the app you are trying to launch (eg. an app executable file inside the Steamapps folder)

- Click on "Options"

- Select "High Performance"

- Confirm
