Newbie, so hello 🙂
Looking to buy a
Medion Erazer Defender P10 Core i7 16GB 512GB SSD GTX 1660Ti 17.3"
Can anyone please advise if this Laptop meets the required specifications to run Windows 11 in the near future?
I cannot find full spec anywhere, and customer service don't know either which is a little concerning when I'm interested in spending £1000 on their products.
I believe processor is on supported list, what about the other requirements?

Hi @Johndm
The only thing which is not specify in your description is TPM (Trusted Platform Module Technology) but I think there is that option since it's a relative new model. I have it on my 2 years old laptop so you're good. More info: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11-specifications
On side note, don't rush. Windows 11 at this current state (DEV state) is not worth it no matter what people say on youtube (I test it already). Wait for at least a beta test if not for a official release.
And, welcome to the forum.
Cheers

Thanks for the welcome 🙂
However, Should be good is not really the answer I'm looking for buddy!
If the customer service team can't answer the question then I'm not gonna spend £1000 to find out for sure.
There are several requirements needed to run Win 11, and I'm looking for a confirmation of these criteria.
Not heard back from CS so looks like I will not be buying Medion ant time now, moving on to other manufacturers such as Acer who will provide machine specifications.
Shortest forum member ever?

Hello @sweetpoison,
I share your point of view....
Let me quote Niels Bohr on this issue:
"Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's about the future."
