Hello, I have recently received an ERAZER Recon E20/P20 (MSN 10024290, MD 35176) with a motherboard B560H6-EM2 v1.1. It was delivered with a 512GB SSD (Model HBRPEKNX0202AL) with Intel Optane. This SSD is already mounted on one of the available M.2 slots (referenced as M2_1) of the motherboard and it works perfectly fine... but I would like to add an extra M.2 SSD of 1TB on the motherboard. There is indeed another M.2 connector that is available (referenced as M2_2 on the board), and it is clearly possible to insert a M.2 2280 of 2260 SSD in there, in parallel with the 2 RAM slots on the motherboard. The sole problem is that it is unclear what this second M.2 slot would support: would it support a PCIe NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0 NVMe or PCIe 3.0 NVMe?) or would it have to be a SATA SSD? Thank you for your help!

Hi,
thanks for bringing up his problem again. Until now we wait for a declaration from Medion which protocol is available for this M.2 Socket in question on a B560H6-EM2 Board V.1.1 (MSN 20069710)
Some Users tried to install a PCIe (NVMe) which wasn't recognized. But another user wrote, he read in some specs this board should have two PCIe ports. Plus a M.2 port for a WiFi card with an E-key.
You should ask a mod, because database entries are not corrected for the B560H6-EM2, with the MSN 20069710.
Cheers, daddle

Thank you @daddle
Yes, I have looked on the Medion service page (https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/20069710) and indeed this B560H6-EM2 board is very different from the one that I have. Maybe the MSN 20069710 is just an older version than the V1.1 that I have?
I have asked the same question about M.2 slots to Medion support and provided the necessary pictures to avoid any misunderstanding. I am surprised to see that there would be no more documentation about this ECS MB on internet. I will wait for their answer. If I don't get one, can you tell me how to ask a mod? I don't know how to do it.
Cheers
