Good Day everyone
I recently started streaming my games and making youtube videos and I have noticed that my pc struggles sometimes. I checked on the Forum and could upgrade my RAM and SSD harddrive which helped but I still have the feeling that my processor is not good enough either. I have a core intel i5 8th gen and was wondering if I couled maybe upgrade to an i7 8th or maybe 9th gen, if possible maybe even i9? Motherboard is callen MG311041 I hope I provided enough info, if not just ask me.
Thanks for your help, Have a good one!

Hi @IanMason ,
1TB SSD & 32 GB DDR4 RAM together with the i5 8400 sound quite competitive, so I´m wondering a bit about your performance problems.
I wouldn´t invest into a new cooling system until you really experience trouble. So at first I´d give it a try

Hi @IanMason and welcome to the MEDION Community,
to help you with your question we at first will have to identify your MEDION machine, so maybe check for the article nummer)
or give us the specific naming of the unit like MEDION ERAZER X9702.
We can assure, that we never used a mainboard with the "MG311041" naming.
Cheers

Hi @IanMason ,
may it be, that you own a MEDION ERAZER P66055 MD 34326 with MSN 10022750, which was sold in Switzerland, don´t you?
I for myself can work with that information, but in case you aimed for some helpful information of other community members about how to empower your system performance, I fear other Community members won´t.
Please confess my information.

Hi @IanMason ,
maybe you can post your current configuration to see if there´s any space for further improvement?
With the built in ECS B360H4-EM mainboard you for sure can feel free to use a (i7-9700 3.0GHz 12M 65W CPU ) as an example. but with this configuration you also have to throw an eye on the PC temperature.
