New Bios for Medion Erazer P30

I have an Erazer Deputy P30 notebook.
msn: 30034316

My "old" Bios:

vendor INSYDE Corp.
version 1.07.02RME1_022

Do you know if an updated bios is available?

Where can I find Bios for this Notebook?

Hi @AndyBiker 

generally updates are provided by the Windows update functionality of your system (do not forget to even hunt for optinal updates), but I also can provide the Bios version 1.07.04RME1 available here (suits to the line ERAZER Deputy P30 & Specialist P10)

The thing with the update is, that i have no logfile in hand, which means, that I can´t tell you about the modifications and as we all know updating a successfully running system might lead to "strange behaviour", so you have to be aware, that for any errors, which are caused by the execution of this update, MEDION campany doesn´ t accept any responsibility for damage or lost of data.
You agree with that fact by executing the update.

is the link given earlier still the latest BIOS for Erazer Deputy P30?

I have just purchased one, and it's still on 1.07.02RME1_010

I'm confused to how I can get BIOS updates through windows update.  The system firmware device is showing as a generic "system firmware" device in device manager, with manufacturer being Microsoft.

How can I get my firmware updated?

Hi @jimwin ,

could you please inform us, if your issue with your ERAZER Deputy P30 laptop is still present?
Despite using the general Windows Update utils you could aldo add the search for optional updates.

hi Major ToM,

yes, the issue is still present.  In Device Manager I can see the "Medion Deputy P30" device under "Computer", but I only see "Device Firmware" and "System Firmware" under "Firmware".  All of these are showing as Microsoft drivers with dates from 2006.

I've not seen any firmware updates since I manually installed the version you posted before.

Some problem for me.

Are we sure that Medion publishes the bios on Microsoft update?

At this point I think it's Medion that doesn't release updates. Besides the Bios mentioned here I was unable to find any other updates.....

So that me or other forum users can help you more quickly, it is absolutely helpful if you always state the eight-digit MSN article number (e.g. MSN 3003xxx or 1002xxxx) printed on the underside of the housing.
