Medion Erazer x7825 bios/EC

Hi

I have bought a second hand Medion Erazer x7825. There is no MSN number to be found.

I am looking for a new bios and EC, as the one I have is from 2013...Is there a newer bios and EC?

Plus, I wanted to upgrade from a gtx 770m to a newer card...a gtx 980m. Would this be possible without too much hassle? 

1. Is it plug and play?

2. Would my existing heatsinks from 770m work with the 980m?

if you look in windows---system information, the last 8 digit of your system SKU will give you the MSN number of the machine

once that is identified you can take a look at our service site for drivers and manual.

I will try that today.

I was looking at the available bios before, how does it work..do I just start up AFUDOS/AFUWIN or would I need to move the flash files to a usb?

Or is there a flash program for them?

There is no system SKU ...it only says "To be filled by OEM".

Any other way to identify it?

have you bought it in the UK?

If so, please try looking for the MSN 30015833 at our website and check if it is the same NB that you have.

According to the specifications, that looks correct.

So I download and unzip the bios/ec..how do I start the flashing itself? Click on the AFUDOS program or?

I would strongly recommend we confirm the MSN before going to a bios update. could you post a screenshot of your "system information" after  you boot into windows.
