Medion Erazer restarting

Hello,

I have been having an issue with my desktop since more or less I bought it. Unless I am running a game in the background it will spontaneously dies every 5-10 minutes or so.

From the summer of 2025 until nov it was actually running fine and never restarted itself. After that I have to start a game as soon as I enter windows otherwise the computer will die.

With dying I mean that all the periphials shut down but for some reason the lights on the front of the computer and the fans are still running. Everything else is dead.

I have tried to update bios (found it in other posts) and changing energy saving settings in both the bios and windows and nothing seems to work.

Hi @Tompers ,

Please could you give us some more details about the unit:-

MSN, MD, current BIOS version when it was purchased?

Have you run the Medion diagnostics app MEDION Service

Have you contacted Medion directly with this issue from the Medion website?

Thanks

Hi @RAZZ !

Serial Number: 10024365030112

MSN: 10024365

Medion MD35036

Yes, during the time I had the computer I ran the Medion service several times. It doesn´t solve anything to diagnose and repair. Today when I ran the app it got stuck on Windows update for more than 3 hours. The option to diagnose "Battery & power settings" is greyed out.

I cannot remember if I contacted them but I think so. It didnt solve anything though.

The time I have spent on this without solving it eventually led me to a workaround. I use start a graphics intense game and run it in the background so that the computer won´t crash. As stated earlier, there was a time period when it was actually working fine for some reason. Now, whenever windows forces me to update the system, the computer crashes several times everytime there is an update process after restarting or turning off the computer. It also gets bluescreens saying crucial files are missing or damaged. It is really getting annoying.
