LED bar stopped working "Medion Erazer Beast 16 X1 Ultimate"

Hello, I recently purchased (06/07/2025) this Medion Erazer Beast 16 X1 Ultimate laptop and the LED bar on the front of the laptop has stopped working.

It does not light up even when the laptop is restarted or I enter the BIOS.

Turning the option on or off in the control centre does nothing, and uninstalling and reinstalling the control centre does nothing either.

The drivers that come with the laptop also seem to be a mess, the .cmd file to install the control centre does not work, and installing CCUdriver.bat does not solve the problem.

Hello, I suspect that it is damaged.

The LED bar on the laptop turned on and worked fine a couple of times, and it used to turn on when I turned on the laptop.

There is no option in the BIOS to control the light. I tried restoring the laptop to factory and reinstalling the control centre, but it did not work.

I also installed the control centre from another company, XMG Neo 16, which is more up to date and seems more reliable than the drivers that came with the laptop.

It worked fine and can control the keyboard lights, but the LED bar did not turn on.

I had exactly the same issue. The LED bar worked fine. I could change the colour successfully in the Control Center. After about 5 restarts it began to malfunction. When I switched it off in the Control Center, it worked and vice versa. Then it stopped working completely. I have installed all drivers from the Medion support page and reinstalled the Control Center but without success.

I’ve had similar problems with the LED lightbar on my Medion Erazer Beast 16 X1 Ultimate. I turned the lightbar off, but sometimes it would turn back on by itself after a restart or waking the laptop from sleep. Unfortunately, I’m also dealing with a more serious issue now. My battery stopped charging after just a few months of use. The laptop is currently in for repairs.

At this point, I’m really starting to regret my purchase.
