Hi,
I’m reaching out because I’m having issues with Flexicharge on my Medion Erazer; the settings keep resetting and it's not working correctly.
My BIOS is updated to version 1.05.08RME3, but the EC is still on 1.05.03ME1. I need the correct EC firmware update (version 1.05.05 or higher) to match this BIOS and fix these power management bugs.
Here are my system details:
Model: MEDION ERAZER X7847 (MD 60479)
MSN: 30022358
Project Name: P650RS-M (MB: P670RP6-M)
I couldn't find the EC firmware on your downloads page. Could you please send me the update file?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best regards,

Hello @ToniG and welcome.
The device is 9 years old, so there's not much more to it.
Did you see that there's an update on the Medion website? https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/30022358
Software Update Flexi Charger MEDION ERAZER X784x/X785x
For installation instructions, please refer to the "Info" button there.
Version: Erazer_X7847_49_EC05.03_FINAL.EXE
This update improves the functionality of the "Flexi Charger" battery management system.
However, I don't know if it's the same as your existing version.

Hi Fishtown,
I wanted to thank you so much for your help! Your reply was exactly what I needed to solve the issue.
Even though the direct link was for the BIOS, the filename you mentioned (Erazer_X7847_49_EC05.03_FINAL.EXE) was the key. I searched for that specific name, found the Medion download link, and successfully flashed the EC.
My system was on version 1.05.03ME1 and this update installed 1.05.03ME3. After the update, Flexicharge is finally working correctly and the settings are remembered even after disconnecting the power supply.
I’m marking your post as the solution. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
Best regards,
ToniG
