Hello, a new user here! 😊
Recently we bought an automatic feeder for our cat. I have followed a simple procedure to connect it, but after a few unsuccessful tries, the device now shows a white LED light lit constantly despite the fact the device is not showing on the list in my medion pet app. Is there a way to reset the device to default, so it can be paired again? I have tried to hold the manual feeding button, but that does not work for resetting (manual feeding works, though). Power cycling does not work either... Should I send the device back to the supplier? Please help.

You should read the manual more carefully. In the illustration on page 15/16 it says if you press the button (3) for manual feeding a longer time it will trigger the reset.
Only after that you should read the chapter 8.2 on page 24/25 it says
1. Reset
2. Remove it from your profile (in the app I guess)
3. Delete your peronal account in the app

There is no manual supplied with my unit.
As I said in my first post, no amount of button pressing can trigger a reset. I have tried for 5 seconds, for 30 seconds, and even for one minute. I have tried to power it down for a longer time to make sure all residual voltage is gone but to no avail.
My network runs at the 2.4GHz band, so there should be no problem here.
As for the app, I had nothing under my profile (in the smartphone app). I have reinstalled the app but it did not help either.
Any further suggestions?

Thats why I gave you the link for the manual. If you press the Button 3 for about 10-15 sec, it should reset. If you never got a profile in you App, then there should be no profile being registered in your account.

Which simple procedure?
As described in Chapter 9?
But if you never added an account in which you registered the feeding appliance and pressed the manual feeding button abiout 15 sec., the feeder should be in a original state after reset.
So I would delete the feeder pet app, inclusive all it's data, Which you can do in settings ---> apps,
So reinstall and register as described in chapter 9.

another hint: Here's a link from another post. the network password should not be longer than 20 characters, otherwise the qr code will not work.
