Medion HDDrive 2 Go Ultra Speed Hard Disk - Replacement AC Adapter in the UK? (KTEC KSAD1200150W1UK)

Hi guys,

I used to own a Medion PC years ago but have still got my old drive which I'd like to still check it works and what data is still on the drive but I can no longer find the original adapter. I did have a replacement adapter years ago but even then I recall it didn't work unless I had another add-on pin that connected between the male jack and the female connector on the hard drive itself, can anyone recommend where to get to both the adapter & this small jack adapter?

Also - can someone give me the english version for this Medion manual

or remove the hard drive from the housing and simply connect it to the pc.

Thanks for that - I am tempted to take the drive apart like in the photo now - can anyone recommend the best way to take this apart safely without damaging the drive inside?
