MS 7633 REV 2.O bios file

hi everyone!

I have the medion/MSI motherboard MS 7633 REV 2.O ( msn= 20046213) and have found the product page here- https://www.medion.com/gb/service/product-detail/20046213

but unfortunately I can't see any drivers or bios files there available to download! and it's the same on another older medion site where they are meant to be as well! I'm trying to add a newer video card to it (the GTX 750ti) but it won't display on boot (I had a similar thing on an old dell a few years ago where it needed a newer bios to run a 1050ti. I'm guessing it's going to be very hard to find! if anyone has any idea please where I can get it from let me know!!! thanks

sorry for the late reply, but it took afew days "digging in the dirt" 😉

We can now provide a bios update up to version 2.0D for the MSI MS 76333 Rev. 2.0 mainboard, which can be downloaded here

Unzip the downloaded file and run the 20D.bat file to start the update process.

Please remind, that for any errors, caused by the execution of this update, we don´ t accept any responsibility for damage or lost of data.

Seems I can't run the update? I've tried on windows XP and win 7, both say "error: this program can not run under this operating system". Also tried running under various compatibility modes in the properties tab but to no effect, and right click running as admin and also directly from the C drive etc.. 

Only other thing I can think to try tomorrow is windows vista O/S maybe? (Already tried vista compatibility mode on win7 with no luck).

Hi @art247 ,

sorry for not mentioning the update details, but this one is not to be run from windows environment but from the command line/DOS prompt. Without having an appropriate system I´m not sure if it´s enough to run the command line from windows.
Are you still in possesion of the (bootable) Medion Support disc CD, which was part of the scope of delivery then?

I understand! Most oem computers like dell had the run while in windows bios type so wasn't sure!, I know it's to old for updating from the motherboard menu via USB like a modern consumer mobo.

I don't have the original medion CD! It was just a bare motherboard I picked up to use for a retro machine on win xp & win7.

I'm wondering if there's a way of running some bootable DOS type O/S via the boot menu on a USB drive and doing it that way as it doesn't even have a CD/DVD drive 🤔.

Hi @art247 ,

thanks for your answer. Even if you just own the mainboard a properly created, bootable USB stick should help solve the challange, when you extracted the update files onto a location on your primary harddrive C: before.
