Hi everyone.
I have a problem with my computer, it's an old Medion with a MS-7848 motherboard where I changed the graphic card to a Nvidia 1060.
My problem is that until today, I had no problem booting it on the screen I had (4K monitor plugged with display port cable)
But I bought a new monitor, and now when I boot the computer, the motherboard keeps beeping (1long, followed by 2 short beeps) and I don't understand why it's acting like that.
If I boot my computer plugged to my old screen, and then plug it to my new screen after the boot, everything works.
If no monitor is plugged, it beeps too
But if I try booting on the new screen, I keep having those beeps.
The new monitor is working fine, I tested it with other computers, same thing for the cable.
I found this post on another forum that describe the same thing : https://www.techspot.com/community/topics/problem-with-new-graphics-cards.192355/ suit The image that give the solution doesn't exist anymore.
Are you aware of any setting to change if you want to update the hardware configuration ?
If anyone has an idea on what can be happening, that would be great.
Thank you in advance for your help

The monitor is working fine.
i found a solution.
in the bios > advanced > os settings > sélect Win7/other
go in the csm menu that just appear set everything to uefi except the video setting.
now go in the security part, and disable secure boot.
and tadaaaa I can now boot with my monitor plugged.
