H67H2-EMv1.0 BIOS Dump

Hello.
I've recently acquired a Medion PC - model PC MT 14, type MED MT717, art.-nr.
10015348. It's based on a H67H2-EMv1.0 (nr. 20049276) motherboard made by ECS.
It was having some stability problems, so - in an attempt to remedy the issue
- I decided to start by updating the BIOS to the latest version. Unfortunately,
I was in a hurry and didn't notice that I had downloaded the BIOS for a H67H2-M
made and sold by ECS (which ranks 1st in Google search results for [H67H2-EM]).
After the update the motherboard won't POST (black screen, no POST beeps).
I have a SPI flash programmer which I could use to write a proper BIOS image.
I am in need of a working BIOS dump for the H67H2-EMv1.0 - it can be any BIOS
version so long as it's compatible. It should weigh exactly 4MBytes.
I also ask for an official BIOS update to the latest version available for the
H67H2-EMv1.0.

Best regards,
Michał K.

Hi @johninstalbans

welcome to the FORUM.

Have you already tried the steps mentioned previously on this thread?

Please let me know the MSN number of your machine, its Windows version and any details on the issue you are facing installing it.

Best regards,

Hi

My MSN is 10014858.

I was hoping that the original enquirer could reassure me of a successful upgrade!

My post is just a precaution, as I'm having problems upgrading my GPU and I thought it possible that the 8-year old BIOS was causing a problem in recognising newer GPUs capable of the 2560 x 1440 resolution required by my new 32" monitor.

The substantive discussion is here: https://community.medion.com/t5/Desktop-PC-All-In-One/Upgrading-GPU-on-MD7712-Akoya-P5704D/m-p/81218...

It now seems that the problem may be deeper, in that the BIOS structure may be incompatible with newer cards!

Hello john, if you could provide me a working link to the original BIOS I can update the microcode to make it work with newer GPUs. I already made dozens of BIOS modifications based on the original BIOS for various motherboards and I had a similar problem with a X79 board that wouldn't recognize modern GPUs but work with legacy ones.

The link to the BIOS for the H61 posted here isn't working for me, would you be able to upload it elsewhere? Then I could help.
