Hello once again,
since my last post I have upgraded my ram to 2x8 Corsair Vangeance LPX Black 2666mhz. Now, the old kit of 1x8 Ram installed ran on the maximum frequency of 2666mhz, but my new kit runs on the speed of 2133mhz, which is normal. But, in Bios there's no option to enable XMP; nor change the Ram values yourself. Going further, there also isn't a Bios update available. I've also read Medion PC's use the CPU to automatically set the Ram?
Is there any way to change the clock speeds of my Ram and if so, how?
PC is a Medion Akoya P66089 MSN 1002 3644

Hi, I possess the same model PC with the same MSN nunber.
Thers is nothing you can do about the RAM speed, not even after a bios Update.
There is one, you can download it here. It works fine.
Just decompress the zip-file into a new folder 460H6W0X.107 and there in Windows start the "flash SYS_W.bat."
All programs should be closed before starting the updtae. After the PC closes down, wait for a minute or two, and the PC starts automatically up again.
This all applies to you only if your Bios is older, eg, WOX105. Like mine was.
