Akoya E63007 noise

It’s very quiet, but extremely high-pitched...
It stops for a few seconds every now and then, but it keeps happening consistently.

I’ve already tried different power-saving modes with no change. I’ve also placed something underneath it and removed the hard drive cage.
That high-pitched whine is incredibly annoying, even though it’s relatively quiet. You can’t hear anything else from the rest of the PC.

Does anyone else have any ideas?

Hello @AfootJerboa  and welcome.

There could be many causes. First, you need to find the part that is causing the noise.

A fan might be making a grinding noise. Check this by gently pressing your finger on the center axis; the sound should change.

However, it could also be coming from a speaker due to electromagnetic interference from the power supply, or the power supply itself might be emitting a high-pitched whine.
