Medion Gaming Centre Hogging RAM randomly

Hi everyone,

I have an Erazer x6807 and have realised that Gaming Centre hogs up to 50% of the RAM for no reason at all.

Is there a reason for this? How can I prevent it?

Thank you,

Sibz

@Gehringer ,

I am sorry for the late response. I have done this before and after some time the issue reappears.

I will accept this as a solution and wait to see if the issue comes up again.

Thank you.

Hi @Sibz ,

this print shows that the gaming center is using only 24 MB of memory, which is not much.

Please order the list of apps running as per memory usage and check whether or not you have unnecessary apps running, even on background.

Also, please go to the startup apps menu on your W10 (start menu -> settings -> apps & features -> Startup) and review the list of apps that are defined to run when your unit starts.

That should do the trick.

Regards,

Gehringer

Hi @Gehringer,

The apps were listed in order of ram usage and gaming center was using 24 GB of it. The values are in MB not KB.

Kind regards,

Arthur

Hi @Gehringer,

Yes, I have 32GB of RAM.

It still happened when I had the stock 8GB RAM.

Kind regards,
