Medion Control Center 2.0 MEDION ERAZER P6605 (MD 61175) NL

Hello,

I hav many problems with my P6605 I7 laptop.

My CPU-fan is continuous speeding on 80-90 %

In Medion Control center 2.0 it was missing the CPU-perfomance and the CPU Core temp.

Both are displying no values.

On the sensors of HWiNFO64 the temperature sensors are displaying very normal temperature values (ca. 60 dgr).

No, after I have removed Medion Control Center 2.0 from the laptop, the cpu-fan seams to be normally functional.

But, now I have lost the program Medion Control Center 2.0

Can someone tell me where I can download this software and how to install this?

I had found an older version, but this programm doesn't work.
All values are giving NULL. So this won't work.

Hope that someone can help me out.
Regards,
Paul

@Supervisors_nl

You did check in the Service Center? There is an older Version listed. But this version worked with the device upon delivery.

--> https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/30025286

Your Mainboard is a Clevo device. Check on their pages for a manual, and also a newer Control Center Version.

Maybe @Fishtown can help you. He will have read this by now.

Best regards, daddle

Hello Fishtown,

Many thanks for replying on my question.

the Control Center 2 / version 1.0.46 was the version it was installed on my laptop.

So it is the same version.

I did have download the application by the link, which was given by Daddle https://www.medion.com/de/service/product-detail/30025286

After unzipping and installing the downloaded application, I did got many problems on my laptop as:

My Wifi didn't work anymore. I cannot connect with my router anymore. (Router is seen, but no connection possible)
The Control Center is working, but the CPU and GPU performance doesn't show values.
The fan speed from CPU and GPU are showing, but no temperature of the CPU is given.
The temperature value off the GPU seems showing well.

Other options seems to work normal. As color setting, keyboard color settings, max fan speed settings, etc.

But it seems really weird that some parts of the application are not showing anything.
After removing the Controll Center 2.0 application again, my Wifi is working well again.

At HWInfo64 my CPU and GPU temperature are looking with "normal" values.

It's very strange, so what is the best thing I can do?
Not reinstalling Control Center 2.0 again or can I do something else?

Hope you have another solutions for me.
Regards,
Paul

Hi @Supervisors_nl
unfortunately I don't know why your wifi doesn't work when the CC has been installed.

are you willing to take risks
you have a clevo barebones mod. N857EJ1. there are two more CC2 for this model on the clevo manufacturer website.
version 1.0.47

https://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download/ftpout_download.asp?sno=10411&no=3

and the version 1.0.62.

https://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download/ftpout_download.asp?sno=10578&no=3
I leave it up to you if you want to try it.

a notice: I am not a medion employee and the software is not from medion either.

bye Fishtown

Hello Fishtown,
Another thanks for your Reply.

During the weekend I will try to install each of the Version of CC2.
At this moment, it is to much risk for me, because I need to use my laptop daily.
After trying, I let you know what the results are.
Regards,

Paul

Hello Fishtown,

This morning I have tried to install one of the versions of CC2.0

After installing of each version, I have got the following results:

Applications seems to work

CPU Perfomance is not visible, there is no indication of the performance

GPU Performance is visible, but it is continous switching form data to off and on (every 3 seconds)

CPU Temparature is visible in figures, The arrow is not showing any temparature.

CPU Fan Speed is visible. %

GPU Temparature is visible in figures, The arrow is also showing the temparature.

GPU Fan Speed is visible. %

Modify to max speed, is possible. After this, the fans are rotating on max speed.
But the arrow of the CPU speed is not showing this speed.

So, at the end, it seems to work partially.

I don't know what solutions there are yet.

Maybe I will contact Medion for a solution

But the another question is. Do I need this application for a normal use of my laptop.

So, for instance, I can't modify the led color of my keyboard. But does that mean, the laptop is not working?

I don't think so.

Off course, it is better when all is working well, but not at any costs.

Thanks for helping,

Regards,

Paul
