Hi, I've just got a Beast 18 X1 and had the same question, but couldn't find an answer. Did a bit of experimenting and have now worked it out. The left one of the 4 sets office mode in the Medion Control Centre, the next one sets balanced, the third sets performance and the last sets the fan speed to maximum cooling. Should have been in the manual but there we are.
