The usecase here is using a USB-C dock to in practice turn the laptop into a stationary PC quickly by just connecting the USB-C cable from the dock. External monitor(s), keyboard and mouse all connect to the dock instead of the PC. I googled my way to this thread upon discovering it simply doesn't work on my Medion. I read the replies here as if this is by design, which is sad. The point of having a dock is kinda moot if I can't connect my monitors to it, but need to mess around with connecting them directly to the PC every time I want to connect it. ... View more
