Have you tried resetting the CMOS? This will restore the BIOS to factory default. CMOS resets can often resolve odd glitches/POST problems that might occur. My Medion P6705 had an issue over a year ago where whenever I put the laptop to sleep and tried to reboot, the laptop would no longer POST. It didn't matter if I removed all components (SSD, etc), issue was same. Laptop would try to boot and hang on a black screen (blacklight was lit, but screen still black). To get it to boot, I had to keep resetting the CMOS. Every time I did that, the laptop would POST again. Found the issue was being caused by the NVMe SSD I had installed. Replaced that and it's not happened since, but this issue showed me how a CMOS reset can fix odd issues with POST. Check to see if your laptop has a CMOS battery inserted. It will either be a coin-shaped CR2032 battery that's inserted into a CMOS battery holder, or it might have some tape covering the battery and be connected with a small cable. The battery can be located on either side of the board. If you can't see it when you take the bottom cover off, you may have to remove the board from the laptop and check there. It could be hiding there. If you find the battery, ensure all power sources are disconnected (battery/charger) and then remove the battery. Leave it out for a few minutes. Put it back in after a few minutes have passed and then connect a power source. Check to see if the laptop behaves any different. Give the laptop some time to boot as the 1st boot after a reset can be slow. Laptop will reboot several times. If still nothing, then the reset is a fail. You can try again, but probably won't work. CMOS resets don't fix everything, but they're worth trying if possible.
