Look for a bit of help with my medion x6807 overheating when plugged in. I've had the x6807 for about 6 years but it's not been used alot. I have the issue when the the power adapter is plugged in but not if I have unplugged. I've checked the fans and they are all clean and working, I've even unplugged the battery and still have the same issue when plugged in without battery connected. When plugged in I can hear how hard the fans are working within 10 minutes of powering on and feel how hot it gets until shuts down. When I run on battery alone no issues at all and can have on for a few hours with fans silent. I have tried unplugging battery, plugging in a different power socket somewhere else, tried different power settings, fresh install of window, everything is up to date and also tried diagnose system and fix issues but all good. Next option would be a new power adapter FSP180-ABBN3-M to check if that solves the issue.
