@jc101 @Phil3678    So for waking you guys up but I have the same issue but instead of wondering where to find a input jack (If it was in 2000 already a hassle it won’t be easier now) my question is easier though for a noob like me difficult.   I have the original adaptor stripped and I’d like to know where to solder the positive wire and where to solder the negative wire. The jack is completely broken and I’d like to revive the laptop so I can at least get the data off.   Thank you in advance! ... View more
