Hi @Fishtown , the issue remains regardless if how I close the lid however I have noticed if I turn the brightness down to 0 the issue goes away.

Hi all, I had a power blip the other day and now the screen on the Erazer X6807 is flickering constantly. I have tried the usual software fixes, drivers, rollback on Windows, fresh install etc and the issue is still there so appears to be a hardware fault. Games etc run fine if I use an external monitor. Does this sound like an inverter problem and does it mean I need a new screen or could it be something else? Thanks
