What if you messed up the system, but still have the recovery partitions? But Cyberlink PowerRecovery just says "The program cannot restore the system partition because its structure is incorrect"?

Hi, Did you ever manage to fix this? I have the same issue. I can boot into the PowerRecovery partition, but get the same message. Also, my F11 splash screen is gone. This happed after I tried to install another OS, but I did keep the recovery partitions.

Hi, I had "fun" by installing Ubuntu and in the process I deleted the Windows partitions but kept the two other partitions (one is the recovery of 450MB and the other ~1023MB which is hidden). I tried to boot on a Windows install media and using diskpart setting the recovery partition to active. Still I can't get it to boot using thar partition. Also tried the fixmbr and fixboot (only fixmbr was able to execute). It seems the recovery partition no longer contains the necessary boot files. Anybody been in the same situation or have hints? 🙂
