I have replaced the BIOS battery  Is there a jumper to reset too? Where will I find it?  it doesn't appear to be, as per the instruction booklet - "CLEAR CMOS" via OPTIONAL HOLE "U" on rear panel..... see page in instruction manual Which also point to page 63 - but nothing on 6 re BIOS ! ... Sorry - my German is not good Yes I removed (disconnected) the SSD and YES I have connected the monitor again To ensure that the BIOS SCREEN appears at boot up - I need to reset the BIOS  ! (although I believe that QUICK BOOT was never set on the PC) ... Mehr anzeigen

I don't think that the graphics card is being detected by the PC I really believe that I need to reset the BIOS - Is there a jumper or do I just need to remove the battery (for how long ?) ... Mehr anzeigen

@daddle  OK - Die Ersatzgrafikkarte macht genau das Gleiche wie die alte Karte = überhaupt kein Videoausgang. Ich habe es an den HDMI-Anschluss des Fernsehers angeschlossen - falls das Problem der Monitor war, obwohl mein Raspberry Pi Video an den Monitor ausgibt. Ich habe den RAM entfernt und ersetzt, ohne Wirkung. Der Prozessorlüfter dreht sich wie gewohnt und ich höre die normalen Startgeräusche. Es kann nichts mit der SSD zu tun haben - denn ich kann nicht einmal das Pre-BIOS sehen. Was könnte es sonst sein? ... Mehr anzeigen

Gibt es ein BIOS-Update? Im Moment kann ich Ihnen nicht sagen, welches BIOS installiert ist - wegen fehlender Grafikkarte - aber ob Sie das neueste BIOS bestätigen könnten ... Mehr anzeigen

Also - is there any BIOS update available ? At the moment - I cannot tell you the BIOS that is installed - because of a lack of graphics card - but if you could confirm the latest BIOS ... tomorrow, when I receive my Amazon purchased card - if it works ? Similarly - there is NO eject button for the optical drive The only way to open the drawer is via Windows !! No idea why but this PC has always been unique ... Mehr anzeigen

Maybe I should include a photo of the rear of my PC ? There is only ONE video output port on my PC - And that is from the Graphics card - there is NO video port output from the motherboard I am aware that the 3770 i7 processor has the capability of handling graphics but there is no hardware on my PC to handle it !! I do not have an on-board graphics card - so I cannot recover my PC !! I will have to buy a replacement card  and keep my fingers crossed that that is the cause of the problem ... Mehr anzeigen
