@daddle Yes I know I’ve read the manual, but on the website product page if you go to to this link here If you scroll down under “Connections/Anschlüsse” it says 1 x USB 3.2 Gen1 Typ-C mit Ladefunktion** The only difference I see is that it’s not the same MSN, and the laptop on the product page comes with Windows 10 Home pre-installed, mine came with Windows 11 Home. But all other specifications seems to be identical?

@daddle I know about PC’s, I just wanted to make sure you are not joking you actually meant device manager in windows. Because I can guarantee Medion does not provide BIOS updates through windows update. I’m asking to receive a bios file to flash manually.

Hi, Is there a BIOS update available for Medion Akoya S14409 MSN: 30033486? I set keyboard backlight to 30 seconds timer in bios instead of always on as default. But when I start typing, there is delay for several seconds until backlight is activated.. maybe a newer bios update can fix this? I will of course update on my own risk.
