Hello @PeterN6 sorry mein deutch ist sehr slecht,  so I will try with english I have same problem.  Mine WiFi HDD is a MD 87890  MSN 5004 7024  and the Li-Ion battery has swollen so much that it broke the cabinet open.  I wrote to MEDION/DK and got the answer, that spare parts is not available.   I found another Li-Ion battery with same specs (3.7V  3000mAh) but the PCM (PowerControlModule) was not the same. I tried to take the PCM from the original battery and soldered it to the new Li-Ion  -  but something must have 'broken' There is no power at the output.   Did you manage to get a new battery?   Regards  KMK/Denmark ...
