know it's a yr later, but it may come helpful for win 10 or 11 after installation. I had an error and had to reinstal win. Afterwards I put in an SD card I use to expand memory and it was not able to see it. Updated win and it saw it. Turns out after I ran the troubleshoot, the medion softs were not perfectly installed but after update it went smoothly. It saw my card. I use a 512GB one now.... not a prob.
