Thanks NinoR. To the original poster, in the interim i recommend buying cheap Bluetooth headphones or another solution which may work is to connect your laptop to a monitor via HDMI, and then, if your monitor has a audio jack, connect your headphones to the monitor. ... View more

All, I have spent this weekend on this issue which occurred randomly on Saturday.   Problem: No audio through either speakers or via wired headphones (BT functions properly)   Here is a list of actions I have tried that may help to identify the issue.   Firstly, I am on Windows 10 rather than Windows 11. But, in any case, the problem also occurred on Linux when I tested it. However, given the frequency of the issue occurring (judging by the forum) it seems like it may not be a hardware issue.   I have clean rebooted my computer and installed and uninstalled Realtek sound drivers multiple times. I have even gone so far as to manually delete all the old drivers, but this has still not fixed the issue.   However, recently i have managed to get the Realtek Audio Console to work. Please see the attached image.
