I searched every iteration of the make and model and I never once saw a link to that, thank you! However, as it turns out, very gently wiggling with flat headed screwdrivers did the job in the end. Gone from a 1 TB HDD and 8 GB of RAM to 1 TB SSD and 16 GB of RAM. I am a happy boy!
