I have a P6687 (I think it's almost the same computer as it uses the same BIOS). I use Linux and I needed to update to v2.09 to install a "recent" version of Ubuntu. I didn't know about the CSM problem, and some months later I enabled that option. The computer also died, so I had to send it to the seller so it can be fixed. It arrived back with a new motherboard with a v2.03 BIOS. I tried flashing the v2.07 (latest version available in the website), but with that version it doesn't boot up Linux. I have a local copy of v2.09, so I flashed this version to use the Linux version, but I'm worried about the CSM problem, maybe a forgot this in he future and a get a nice paperweight. The most surprising thing is that I bought the P6687 without operating system, so the most probable use it's to install Linux in it. I'm very disappointing about the support of Medion and I think I'm not going to buy again another Medion computer. PS. I anyone need the V2.09 BIOS, I can send it to you. PS2. You need to install Windows to flash the BIOS to use Linux!
