I have this problem on my P9701 (Android 7.1.2) since yesterday, when I performed a factory reset because of perfomance issues. My experience is the opposite of many others: Netflix worked fine before the factory reset, and stopped working (error code 1009) after the reset - both on the same Android version 7.1.2. On the same tablet I can login into my Netflix account through web interface, so it's not an account or connectivity issue. I contacted Netflix, tried everything they suggested (clear app data, reboot, reinstall) but nothing works, according to Netflix it's probably a firmware compatibility issue. I'm not too happy about this, because I don't see any more options.. Does anyone have another idea? By the way, I understand German pretty well, so you can reply in German to my post.
