To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Download the firmware update here.
2. Unzip the downloaded file sw_md44125_Firmware_W40.rar.
3. Format your USB flash drive to FAT format.
4. Save the unzipped file CA32BOOT.bin to the root directory of USB flash drive and then plug into the unit.
5. Switch on the MD 44125 micro audio system and goto FM or DAB mode. Then, press the menu button to call up menu and go to SYSTEM.
6. Under system, select Upgrade and then the unit will be upgraded automatically.
7. After upgrading complete, unit go back to standby mode.

Perform factory reset after checking the new firmware W40 is installed.
