MEDION LIFE* X15092 (MD 31500) - Color Reproduction Issue

Dear Team,

 

My Medion Smart TV does not show colors properly. Color Restoration seems -ve(looks like a photo negative). Please check the photo attached.

 

TV been wkrking well since May 2022, till yesterday

Hi @Vivek-Med, and welcome to our Community.

 

Please try following steps to reset your TV:

 

  • Switch off TV
  • Remove all connected devices.
  • Disconnect the power plug (wait at least 10 seconds).
  • If there is a toggle switch, press it several times, otherwise keep the switch-on button pressed (also for 10 seconds).
  • Plug in the power plug.
  • Switch the TV on again.

If the problem persists, please let us know if the problem is present with each source.

Can you please clarify where to locate "Toggle Switch" or "Switch ON button" ?

thanks for your response.

There is no Toggle switch on your TV, so use the On/Off button on your remote control.

Dear @EastClintwood 

 

Tried all your steps, my bad luck as I had to end up with same result as before.

 

Picture still looks decolored or distorted. HDMI, Wireless Display from my Android Phone, Medion internal browser based videos and YouTube app videos give same distorted picture as result (same as my earlier shared screenprint).

 

I know TV been bought by my house owner earlier this year. Shall we try repair under warranty/guarantee as next step ?

1 more observation, 

 

None of the Picture adjustment settings(brightness, contrast, sharpness...) are working. Only Backlight + or - seems to work..

 

Any hardware issue ?
