Hi,
I have a problem when starting the MD31347 TV : the last couple of days I get a flashing screen. The tv switches between different colours : black, green, red, blue, ... There is sound : you can hear sound from the current program, but no image.
Disconnecting the power or pushing different buttons on the remote does not help.
After a while (20 or more minutes) the tv goes back to normal by itself.
Anyone an idea ?

wenn noch garantieansprüche bestehen, ist es dann nicht besser den support zu kontaktieren?
if you still have warranty claims, you should better contact the support.
it looks to me like a serious hardware or software issue

was du machen kannst ist eine Reststromentladung durchführen:
Reststromentladung = Netzstecker ziehn, alle Kabel ab und Einschaltknopf für 10 Sek. drücken.
wenn das nicht geht: Erstinstallation durchführen (Werksreset)
Sollte das auch nichts bringen, den Support kontaktieren.
what you can do is carry out a residual current discharge:
Residual current discharge = unplug mains plug, disconnect all cables and press power button for 10 seconds.
if that does not work: perform initial installation (factory reset)
If that does not help, contact the support.

Unfortunately, that did not help (left the tv unplugged for more than 7 hours). Haved asked for a RMA.

TV worked for a day this weekend, now broken again 😞
Opened a call with Medion to repair the tv : is only 3 months old.

Darum habe ich auch extra geschrieben: "siehe als Beispiel:"
und nicht: damit kannst du die Software deines TV verändern.
Es ging ja darum, zu erklären, woran es liegen kann wenn die Unifarben ständig wechselt.(TV opens with Burn-In mode)

i guess it is not that smart, to talk about a hack that open here, when your device is broken and the support people is maybe watching your comment...

Hi,
small update : service-engineer came by yesterday. Still no joy :s
Probably motherboard ... hopefully : he replaced everything, but it still did not work. Mayby it was the wrong replacement motherboard (Vestel). Now I'm waiting for another replacement motherboard.
This was probably the first and last Medion TV I bought. Was a happy customer before, but now ....
